Getting around: Walking is the best choice because the major attraction, Niagara Falls, and numerous shops and restaurants are within a few blocks of the hotel. The Niagara Transit Commission runs the Falls Shuttle, from late May through Canadian Thanksgiving in early October, and then Friday/Saturday only until late November. The Shuttle travels through central residential and commercial districts as well as to major attractions, with single fares of less than $5 CDN. The nearest stop is down Victoria Ave. During peak visitor season from early April to late October, Niagara Parks also runs People Movers in a 19-mile (30.5-km) loop down Niagara Parkway with unlimited on-and-off privileges for $5–$15 CDN for adults and less than $5 CDN for children 6–12.
